Suggestion 1: Romantic Akko
There is nothing like a romantic stay in Ancient Akko, one of the most beautiful cities in Israel, if not in the world!
Get two options to start the morning:
Option 1: Sama Chef Restaurant & Rooftop Bar — Weekends Only
The word “sama” in Arabic means sky, and the restaurant is named so because of its winning location — between the alleys of the colorful market and the historic city walls, between mosques and churches, cultures and languages. The restaurant is located on the roof of the most central building in the old city, and some say that it is the most valuable rooftop in the old city!
Brunch at Sama is served on weekends only. A winning combination of a classic breakfast, with a twist from the Shami cuisine (Syria and Lebanon). Breakfast includes fresh vegetable salad, falafel, eggplant schnitzel, bread from the tabon, sesame pretzels with olive oil and thyme, cheese platter, hard-boiled eggs, muesli with granola, and more. On the table, you will find sides such as hummus, green tahini, green hot sauce, eggplant salad, baba ganoush, and more! Brunch includes eggs, a glass of lemonade/oranges, and a hot drink.
