Tamar and Meir Davidson came to Akko and fell in love with the Old City – with the ancient buildings, the impressive wall surrounding it, the authentic markets and the friendly people of the city. Inspired by their trips to Nepal, India and Southern Italy, they decided to develop local eco-urban tourism, combining the authentic experience of being hosted in luxurious and modern rooms with the human and cultural fabric of the Old City.
Come to the Old City of Akko, whose stones are suffused with history, to the narrow stone-paved alleyways, the sea, the markets and the Akotika Hotel, where all the original rooms have been meticulously restored and furnished with contemporary luxury and comfort. Each room is different and unique, luxurious, and at the same time an integral part of the rich human and cultural character of Old Akko.
Every morning a superb, traditional Akko breakfast is served on the rooftop of the main building.
We are in Akko and are offering you all its authentic pleasures.
First thing in the morning our bakers arrive, to knead and prepare the dough for the patissier, they grind chickpeas by hand, combining them with lemon, garlic and olive oil, and wash and dress the fresh produce for the enjoyment of our guests.
We invite you to sit on the terrace, facing the endless blue sea, while enjoying a nutritious, satisfying and lavish meal.
** The meal is kosher under the supervision of Tzohar.
