Friday Lunch & Inspiring Personal Story at the Noor Restaurant
Noor is a Galilean Druze restaurant, established by Basma, in the center of the village of Julis. An air-conditioned and pleasantly designed restaurant that offers an authentic Druze experience, traditional home-cooked food, local ingredients, and fresh vegetables grown in and around the village. On the Menu: Tabbouleh salad, hummus prepared on the spot, babaganush, tahini, Mujaddara, stuffed grape leaves, zucchini and eggplant, stew, kebab in tomato sauce, chicken or lamb, fried kubbeh, lemonade, and for dessert coffee and cookies. At the end of the meal, we hear the moving story of Basma Hino, an IDF widow, and an inspiring entrepreneur who set up the restaurant on her own with a lot of faith and joy for life.
