Tefen Industrial Park incorporates a business incubator for start-ups and start-up factories engaged in industrial exports, alongside the Migdal Tefen Industrial Local Council, a visitors center, supportive set of services, four museums, and an environmental sculpture garden. In this cultivated cultural environment, many companies have grown over the years alongside Israeli art, cultural events, education and creativity. The flagship of the Park is the international “Iscar” company, which manufactures advanced processing tools for hard metals.
The Tefen Industrial Park is open daily to visitors and the general public, and hosts school trips and diverse group visits from around the country and the world. The visit includes a rich program of creative workshops and guided visits to the various museums, the Israeli Art Gallery, the collection of antique cars and factories in the Migdal Tefen industrial area, which encompasses the garden.
The Open Museum at Tefen Industrial Park is a unique model that combines areas that seem to have no connection – art, technology and industry. The special combination makes the museum a unique learning environment. The department exposes school students and educators to a wide range of subjects in the fields of industry and technology, arts and crafts, history and entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on production and creation – from manual labor to computing and robotics.
