A workshop that connects you to Ethiopian cuisine with the most colorful and wonderful fusion at Adush.
“My encounter with Ethiopian cuisine happened when I was 14 years old. I visited my friend Eskder Mogs at her house in Talpiot in Jerusalem. I remember feeling hungry in the stairwell. When I entered her house, the feeling of hunger intensified and I asked to eat. Her mother immediately offered me a plate with Injera (which looked like a stew to me) on top of meat with the most wonderful aroma. I devoured the plate and asked for more. Later I married a half-Ethiopian half-English man and his amazing family long ago became my family. Thanks to them I got to know a multitude of colors, flavors, fragrances, and connections. I have a strong desire to connect the Ethiopian cuisine that I love so much to the kitchen of Adush. I set out on my journey to Ethiopian cuisine and like every workshop I built, I slowly refined how I want to convey to you my love for the kitchen and these crazy delicious foods.” – Adi Shmuel
