The store Holech Batel is difficult to fit into the mold of a regular store, it is a local celebration.
Michal Ezrony founded the store and has taken shape over the years as a response and expression of the village and its surroundings.
The store offers a surprising variety of products: from a meticulous collection of diverse wines from Israel and abroad to fine products produced in Yodfat like olive oil and honey as well as jams, soaps, and more produced in the region.
In the store, you can obtain famous and excellent flower bulbs of Yodfat – of course only what is in season.
Alongside all of these, there are also anthroposophical products inspired by the anthroposophical school in the village lots of activity kits for children, a Galilean hospitality corner (coffee cups, teapots, silver cups, and trays in various sizes), cosmetic,s and a great selection of quality toys and craft products for children.

Michal Ezrony, born in Yodfat, has specialized in the culinary field around the world for years. When she returned to Yodfat in 2003, she opened a wine shop in her home. The store has evolved, added manufacturers, artists, and initiatives of the local people were added. This is how an eclectic, regional, and unusual variety was created, which took shape into a new and impressive complex built at the entrance to Yodfat — Boacha Yodfat.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
