Druze artist Safaa Khair from Peki’in invites visitors to the Western Galilee to attend her candle-making workshop. In the workshop, Safaa will teach the participants the process of making candles from beginning to end, combining her personal story, stories about Druze culture, and one of the oldest villages in the Galilee – Peki’in. At the end of the workshop, each of the participants will take with them a fragrant and special candle that they prepared themselves!

At the Omanya Studio, in Kibbutz Afek, a workshop will be held in honor of Hanukkah that is suitable for the whole family and deals with handicrafts made of genuine leather. In the workshop, visitors will experience different techniques of working with leather and will be able to make purses or other items. Alongside the activity, Eldad Bahar, the studio’s founder, and artist behind it will share the participants in his fascinating personal story.
