The visitor center of the organ workshop in the village of Yuvalim invites you to enter the world of sounds.
We will gather for with light refreshments and a hot drink and then enter the tour.
The tour of the visitor center will take you through a variety of organs in the center, a photo exhibition of organs built by the Organ workshop founder- Gideon Shamir over the years. Gideon Shamir was and remains the only organ builder in Israel.
Later we will gather for an artisan meeting with Uri Shani, today’s owner of the organ workshop. Uri Shani will tell you about the history of the organ, where it came from, his personal connection to this special instrument and about organs nowadays.
At the end we will enjoy a demonstration concert on the organ.
The visit is suitable for groups of 20-60 participants.
The length of the tour – 1.5 hours.
Uri came from the field of theater where he worked as a director, teacher, lecturer, actor and musical editor. He also worked in theater setting.

We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
