Come and discover the magic created when fire, iron and soul meet in a special encounter with sculptor and blacksmith Walied Khoury in the Christian village of Fassuta.
What awaits you?
Sculpture Demonstration in the Studio – Walied, the blacksmith, presents a traditional and impressive creative process: heating iron strips in charcoal and transforming them into living, breathing works of art. While working, he shares his personal story and the journey that led him to this unique profession.
Visit to the Gallery – you will be exposed to a spectacular collection of handmade sculptures and furniture, including an explanation of the creative process and the establishment of the gallery.
We will end by going out to the balcony overlooking a spectacular view of the Galilee.

Walied Khoury began working with iron at the age of 40. Since then he has participated in contests and won prizes in Israel and abroad.

We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
