At the heart of the Yiftah’el Winery is a beautiful wooden cabin, originally built in 1840 in the Appalachian Mountains by a Scottish immigrant to the United States. Allen Radley, a Jewish resident of the area, purchased the cabin, dismantled it, and shipped it to Israel.
With Radley’s generous help, the Ofir family received permission to rebuild the cabin. The reconstructed home now enjoys a unique ambiance, where you will be charmed by the serenity and beauty of a bygone age and the fragrance of its oak and chestnut timber.
The second floor of the cabin houses a gallery with rotating exhibitions of the work of artists from the Jezreel Valley and beyond.
Our winery offers a unique experience for the whole family in the north of Israel, amidst the enchanted Galilean landscape.
Hadas and Zvika Ofir established their farm in Alon HaGalil in 1985, with a beehive, vineyard, and winery. At the same time, they raised four children who to this day are partners in the family business.
