The Julia Winery is a family-run winery producing boutique wines from a variety of grapes grown on our land and in other Galilee vineyards.
The family vineyard is located near the village of Mi’ilya in Western Galilee.
Come and join us on the picturesque balcony surrounded by greenery which separates you from the street and everyday sounds. Take a seat with a glass of wine, with friends, family, or a romantic tête-a-tête, and enjoy the superb wines of the winery together with our personal, attentive service.
The Julia winery recommends ordering a platter of cheeses all produced by local Galilee dairies.
The cheese platter costs 70 NIS.
The Julia Winery is a family-owned boutique winery producing only 11,000 bottles a year, so it is worth visiting us soon. George Araf’s son Anan is a chemical engineer who left his job to focus on wine-making and managing the winery alongside his father.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
