Come and visit the Julia Winery, where we will show you the barrel room, and tell you the story of the local village family that fell in love with welcoming guests and winemaking.
After hearing about the unique production methods of the winery, we’ll taste the various wines.
You are invited to choose between two tours, both guided by the welcoming Araf family members.
A choice of 3 wines (served with a tray of snacks for each couple), at 35 NIS per person.
A choice of 5 wines (served with a platter of snacks for each couple) at 50 NIS per person.
The Julia Winery is a family-owned boutique winery producing only 11,000 bottles a year, so it is worth visiting us soon. George Araf’s son Anan is a chemical engineer who left his job to focus on wine-making and managing the winery alongside his father.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
