The trip is suitable for groups of up to 50 people. An experiential day in the Galilee that combines breakfast in a green kibbutz, a meeting with international dancers with the participation of the audience, a Druze workshop and meal, a demonstration workshop with iron, and a tour of a picturesque village.

9 am – 10 am Breakfast at the Alto Dairy & Bakery in Shomrat
Breakfast in front of the beautiful green kibbutz with goat cheeses and local baking. Enjoy a rich menu, pastoral location, and the most local flavors available.
10:30 am – 11 am Drive to the International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga’aton
11 am – 12:30 pm Tour of the International Dance Village
View a short and moving film about Yehudit Arnon, the founder of the Dance Village, and what motivated her to establish the troupe. A glimpse of the backstage rehearsal of the international dance troupe and finally participating in a dance with the international dancers.

12:30 pm – 1 pm Drive to the Druze village of Hurfeish
1 pm – 2:30 pm Authentic Druze cooking workshop with Safta Maha
Meet Maha Amer at her home in the picturesque village of Hurfeish, on the balcony with a unique Galilean view, for an authentic Druze experience. We will hear her moving story, talk with her about the status of Druze women today and in the past, and enjoy an authentic cooking workshop. In the workshop, we will learn to make grape leaves and traditional zucchini which we will taste at the end. At the end of the experiential workshop, we will enjoy a meal together.
Accompanied by: Tabbouleh salad, vegetable salad, homemade hummus, hot soup, Mujaddara, shulbat, veal mansaf and almonds, meatballs, and Druze pita. Finally, we will be treated to herbal tea, coffee with cardamom, and a selection of homemade cookies.
2:30 pm – 3 pm Drive to the Christian village of Fassuta
3 pm – 4 pm Demonstration Workshop with the Blacksmith Walied Khoury
Walid discovered his passion for iron after the age of 40, changed his life, and became a blacksmith and iron artist. In the workshop below the house he works on his art and next to the workshop, there is a small gallery that displays sculptures and works handmade by Walied that have gained resonance all over the world.
4 pm – 4:30 pm Trip through the Christian village of Fassuta
Visit two unique churches, one old and the other new, and especially beautiful with a tour guide from the Galilee. Hear the stories of the village and connections within.
