Cooking & Baking Workshops with Aviva Khoury

You are invited to a unique culinary experience full of flavors, at the chef Aviva Khoury’s home in the pastoral Christian village of Fassuta. Aviva has two types of workshops — a cooking workshop and baking workshop, and at the end of each workshop we will sit down to eat our creations together.

What awaits you in the workshop?
Aviva Khoury invites you to sit together around a table full of inspiration, fresh ingredients, and stories about the Galilean cooking tradition. We will learn to prepare traditional dishes with a unique touch, combining techniques and secrets from the local cuisine.
Enjoy a heartfelt atmosphere, shared experiences, and food rich in flavors and love, which you can always prepare again at home.
During the workshop, we will dive together into the world of flavors, aromas, and secrets from the local cuisine, while learning how to cook:”

• Fatayer – dough stuffed with vegetables
• Stuffed grape leaves (meat or vegetarian)
• Maamoulim
  *Dishes such as maqluba, mansaf, and mujaddara can be prepared by prior arrangement.

At the end of the workshop, we will sit down for a shared meal made by us on the pleasant balcony facing a beautiful Galilean view.
Price: 250 NIS per person, including workshop and meal

Baking Workshop with Aviva

In this workshop we will experiment with dough preparation, rolling and baking and a variety of tastings of all the best foods. At the end of the workshop we will sit down to eat what we prepared.
Price: 100 NIS per person, including the workshop and sweet tastings
