The Aluma restaurant is located in Tarshiha in the Western Galilee.
The location was selected out of a desire to appeal to diverse crowds, Jews and Arabs, living side-by-side in this growing region that still maintains traditional rural characteristics.
The restaurant can celebrate events with up to 50 people.
Alaa Sweitat, who worked at Aluma as a bartender when he was younger, became one of its owning partners over the years.
