We will gather at the production center and flagship store of the Tamara Herbs brand in Kibbutz Hanita, for a few hours of natural pharmacy work led by Tamara Kuperstein ― owner and founder of the Tamara Herbs brand ― who has been involved in natural pharmacy for over 20 years.
After studying Western herbs and Ayurvedic healing theory, she combines the two schools of thought to produce natural concoctions that contain 100% natural ingredients, combining ancient knowledge with modern knowledge.
The meeting will begin with a festive reception with light refreshments, after which we will hear Tamara’s story, and how she founded the Tamara Herbs brand.
In the workshop, we will learn to make 2-3 basic products that anyone can make easily at home.
At the end of the workshop, the participants will take with them the products prepared in the workshop, along with a detailed recipe sheet.

Tamara has been engaged in natural pharmacy for about 25 years. Her work and her source of inspiration are deeply rooted in Clil. Tamara’s specialization is in natural pharmacy. Her rich experience focuses on the preparation of age-old classical concoctions, both Ayurvedic and Western medicine, and a combination of the two.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
