An exciting and fascinating tour that will take you straight into the wonderful world of animals. The tour will be accompanied by an experiential, deep, and personal encounter with the animals.
On the tour, we will pass through the various complexes on the farm, learn about organic farming and its products, visit the visitor center, and the rehabilitation and resilience centers, the restaurant, and more! After the tour, we will move to the farm’s visitor center, where a unique sustainability workshop will be held. What is plastic? What is made of plastic? How can it be recycled and used correctly? We invite you to take part in the solution process, and turn polluting plastic into new products.
It is possible and advisable to bring vegetables to feed the animals in a box only, do not walk around the farm with plastic bags (note the permitted and prohibited vegetables):

Uri Bar Yosef and the Havat Rom team chose to work on the farm out of a deep connection to the values that underlie our agricultural endeavors. Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
