Family Trip ― We will go on a nature trip to one of the Galilee streams. We will discover which animals live here, get to know interesting plants, play family games, do quizzes and activities for children and do not forget to give added value to parents. The trip is tailored to the group’s age and walking ability. Example Trips ― Nahal Namer and the northern border, including an amazing view of Lebanon; Nahal Kziv Elion and the Druze village of Hurfeish; springs and a hidden cave in Nahal Srach Betzet; and more!
Trip for Retirees ― We will go on a trip rich in knowledge and experience, depending on the age and nature of the group. We will get to know fascinating archaeological finds found in the Galilee ― an ancient Crusader fortress, a mosaic floor of a Byzantine church, the remains of an ancient Bedouin village with a special story and more. We will walk between spectacular viewpoints to meet artists and craftsmen from all the different ethnicities and religions in the Galilee. Example Trips ― a tour of the ancient village of Mi’ilya, including a meeting with a local artist and a visit to the church; a tour of the village of Peki’in including the Rashbi Cave, a visit to the Beit Hamuchtar, and tasting unique chocolate; a beach trip to Shavei Tzion and Rosh HaNikra, including amazing scenic views and stories of saving sea turtles; and more!

Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
