David Gru, a main musician in the New Israeli Opera Orchestra, performer, and composer, left a successful 30-year career in the center of the country and moved to the Western Galilee with his family to fulfill a dream and live a peaceful community life in a rural area close to nature and fresh air. When the dream came true, David and his wife Dana decided to share the Galilean magic with many, and thus “Philharmonic In The Countryside” was born – a combination of inviting home hospitality, chamber music, good wine, and a spectacular Galilean view.
Together with Dana and their extended family, in their dream home in Kfar Vradim, they host artists from all over the world for intimate shows, which include open dialogue, stories, and secrets behind the works under the direction of David. Each meeting is accompanied by fine wine, refreshments, and other treats on the large balcony overlooking a gorgeous Galilean view from the Mediterranean Sea to Mount Meron.
There is a possibility to invite David with a musical band for events or meetings, by prior arrangement.
In the past year, David and Dana developed unique musical performances for children and youth with which they reached many schools and educational institutions as part of the Ministry of Education’s cultural initiative.
