We open with a kosher breakfast at the Lotus Restaurant on the roof of the Akkotika Boutique Hotel, one of the most beautiful hotels in the city, including a meeting with Tamar Davidson, the owner of the hotel.

On the roof of the main building of the beautiful Akotika Boutique Hotel, located in the picturesque alleys of Akotika, is the Lotus Restaurant, overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy a fine traditional Akko breakfast.

After breakfast, meet with the tour guide Karmit Arbel (from Matat) who specializes in trips to meet locals with a feminine and multicultural emphasis ― we will get an introduction to the city and start wandering. The next stop is the amazingly beautiful Beit Elfarasha.

Beit Elfarasha (The Butterfly House) was built by women, inspired by women, and for women. It is located in a picturesque alley in the heart of the Old City of Akko, near the sea. Authentic Akko cooking with local women.
From there we will continue to wander the city to the colorful fruit and spice market area. We will visit the JNF-USA Information Center for Akko and the Western Galilee.

Visit the JNF-USA Information Center for Akko and the Western Galilee, managed by Western Galilee Now – a small business consortium. The center is located in a beautiful ancient building that has undergone a meticulous preservation process combined with a modern and impressive design in the heart of ancient Akko.

For dessert ― the famous Malabi House with Tina Khativ’s perfect malabi. She will tell her empowering story and how she took 3 recipes from her 3 grandmothers and created her winning recipe. A single parent Akko woman who decided to turn the family warehouse into a crazy little shop. The visit will be accompanied by a tasting and a heartfelt ceremony.

Tina Khativ, born in Acre, has always dreamed of entertaining people and making them happy. She learned how to make malabi from her grandmothers and today she is fulfilling a dream in a place she opened and renovated with her own hands.
The Malabi House, established in 2018, is a beautiful and colorful stall. The stall offers excellent malabi according to the Turkish-Akko tradition, handmade from only high-quality raw materials.
