Jullius Distillery was opened in 2008 by Yuval (Joov) Har Gil.
Today, Jullius Distillery is at Kibbutz Hanita, facing intoxicating views, where Joov makes Akko gin in his German distiller machine, Eau De Vie distilled grapes, and schnapps from Galilean fruit like mandarins, oranges, and citron.
All of the manufacturing processes are manual and completely natural, from selecting raw materials to bottling and packing.
Combined with small distillation cycles, these manufacturing principles make each Jullius bottle a one-of-a-kind, high quality, and rare creation, complete with a serial number and signature.
Jullius Distillery keeps to sustainability principles and is one of the only distilleries in the world operated by solar energy. All Jullius products are Kosher.
You can also visit to hear about the creative process, taste a variety of products and get intoxicated from the flavors and gorgeous views with cheese, salted fish, and fine bread to snack on.
Joov, a media man and former food and liquor critic, decided to turn theory into practice and make alcohol himself.
