The distillery and the designed visitor center are located in Kibbutz Hanita, facing a breathtaking Galilean landscape. This is where Jullius’ alcohol distillates are brewed ― Joov’s meticulous handiwork, produced in an advanced German distillation facility.
The variety includes gin under the “Akko” brand, grape distillates in the Eau-de-Vie style, and classic Eastern European schnapps from the fruits of the Galilee such as plum, strawberry, etrog, and more.
All production stages are done by hand, using only natural processes ― from the selection of the agricultural raw materials, through the distillation, to the bottling and packaging.
These principles, combined with small distillation cycles, make each Jullius bottle a one-off creation: high-quality, rare and unique, bearing a serial number, and a personal signature.
The Jullius Distillery operates according to the principles of sustainability and is considered one of the few distilleries in the world that is powered by solar energy.
