The Adelina Restaurant was established more than 19 years ago in Kibbutz Cabri. With a large terrace facing banana groves floating in the expanse and a blue sea on the horizon, Adelina Restaurant is a chef’s restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine and Spanish influences. The restaurant is located in a stone building that served as the kibbutz’s cultural center and overlooks the Western Galilee.
Adelina Goldfeld, a kibbutz member who used to hold cooking workshops there, met restaurateur Ilan Oppenheimer after the workshops. Together they realized that there was a lack of choice of restaurants in the Western Galilee, and especially chef restaurants.
In a joint decision with the kibbutz and thanks to their great love for food and hospitality, the two decided to establish the Adelina Restaurant.
The restaurant has a luxurious rustic design and an impressive interior space, stone columns, wooden beams, a vine-covered balcony, olive trees, a rich spice garden and, in the center of the restaurant, and a taboon. The restaurant has a private room, where intimate events or business meetings can be held for up to 14 people.
Today, the restaurant is led by Chef Roshdi Dakwar and his skilled team, and they serve a menu that combines the flavors and raw materials of the Galilee with Spanish-Catalan cuisine.
Recommended Dishes: Tapas Tour (tour the flavors in the restaurant’s menu); roasted beef fillet in red wine sauce and beef stalk; Paella Marinara served in an iron pan filled with rice and saffron, topped with shrimps, mussels, crabs, and fish slices. Meat, fish, seafood, and bread come out of the large taboon oven at the center of the restaurant, served with a rich Galilean wine menu. Business or family events can be held at the restaurant.
During the week, there is a business menu and on Fridays, a unique brunch.
