A warm winter experience at the Bedouin Tent of Kammaneh – an evening of stories, flavors, and hearty hospitality in the heart of the Galilee Mountains.
We will meet around the campfire with a cup of black coffee or hot sage tea, and embark on a journey through Bedouin life stories, legends, and poetry.
We will learn about the ancient tradition of hospitality, participate in a workshop on traditional pastries – manakish and fatayer – and end with a full, kosher dinner that includes chicken mansaf with rice, pine nuts, and local salads.
This is an evening of human warmth, culture, and the taste of both the desert and Galilee.

Eid Sawaid, a national guide to Bedouin heritage at the Ministry of Education, decided before his retirement to fulfill a dream and open a Bedouin hospitality complex where he could combine his lectures on Bedouin heritage, his tours of the Kamanneh area and his desire to engage in bringing hearts together with experiential Bedouin hospitality. Ekhlass, his wife who until then ran a nursery school, joined him and together they founded Al E’in Tent, which also offers traditional and kosher meals.
