You are invited to a real Galilean experience that will activate all the senses, especially the muscles of smiling and laughing. Join us for a unique tour at the Rom Farm ― an inspiring place that combines sustainable organic farming, raising happy goats, producing fine cheeses, and an exciting social-rehabilitation effort that has found a particularly creative way to be a sustainable farm.
Along with spectacular views and getting to know the special story of the place, the icing on the cake of the tour awaits you: the humorous and fascinating one-man show of the tour guide Karmit Arbel ― “Once Again You & Your Grandmother’s Stories.” During the tour, Karmit will very talentedly portray three Galilean grandmothers, full of humor, life wisdom, and spicy local stories. In addition, we will meet the works that the members create on site during the restoration process, and we will visit the ceramics studio of the creator Einav Brown, for an intimate meeting. We will hear about her connection to the material and see up close unique tools that are all created by hand from a connection to the home and life itself.

Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
