We are excited to launch our first aged hard cheese. The cheese that matured back when we founded Flora has been sitting in our aging refrigerator ever since and we invite you to cut the first wheel with us and taste it for the first time.
At exactly 11 am, we will cut the wheel and you are invited to be part of our inaugural event, holding a glass of wine in your hand.
We will also serve our regular menu every Friday.
Flora is an artisanal sheep dairy located in Lotem in the Lower Galilee, specializing in the production of cheeses from sheep and goat milk. The cheeses are classic cheeses with French and Italian influences – lactic cheeses, mold cheeses, rind-washed cheeses, hard cheeses and soft cheeses.

Where? Kibbutz Lotem
Price: 50 NIS per person

Michal Benishti, a gastronome with a master’s degree in gastronomic sciences from Italy and a former Strauss gastronome, fulfilled her dream and established the “Flora Flourishing Cheese” Dairy in a dreamy corner of the Galilee. Together with the cheesemaker Azi Miterni, they run a dairy that fulfills the philosophical path she has adopted ― good, clean and fair food that combines quality, taste, and sustainability values.
