We invite you to a day full of connection ― to art, to the land, and to our Israeli story. Join us for a unique tour of the Western Galilee, which begins with creation and ends with the sweet taste of oud.
What awaits us on the way?
Gallery Meeting with Koby Sibony: Let’s start at Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta’ot, in the artist Koby Sibony’s Studio. We will get to know the wonderful world of sculpture with iron wires, we will see how hard material is transformed into works full of imagination, emotion, and humor.
An Easy Hike Between Fields & A Waterway: We will go for a pleasant walk from Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta’ot towards Kibbutz Shomrat. On the way we will discover the secrets of nature ― get to know the collection and medicinal plants that grow wild, and we will walk next to the historic and magnificent aqueduct.
An Exciting Meeting at the Sons Pool: In the beautiful Sons Pool, we will meet Sharon, the mother of the late Ido who fell in the Gaza War. We will hear about the association that the family established in his memory and the wonderful vision that was forged there ― a center for personal and group development through nature, ecological conservation, ornithology, and leadership programs. A moment of connection and strength in front of the landscape.
A Sweet Ending at the Alto Dairy: We’ll rest in Kibbutz Shomrat with a delicious goat’s milk ice cream tasting (and an equally wonderful family story!). At the end of the tour, you can refresh yourself with the boutique cheeses and delicacies from the dairy at home.
