The name Symbolic Jewels was born of a shared thought, and it describes what they feel toward their creations and studio. The works in the store are versatile and anyone can find items they relate to: Nissim’s gem-encrusted silver jewelry are an expression of the rich world he is inspired from, free-flowing within the jewelry in a wide scope of items – bracelets, earrings, rings and more.
Meran’s coin jewelry tell a story – that of the coin’s life: each piece has its own history and past lifetime as an old coin. “It’s magical to me”, says Meran, “to take an old coin with its different contexts, and give it a new esthetic identity of beauty and meaning”.
