Experiential musical performances for children from preschool age to teenagers combine listening to the best of classical music and learning about different musical instruments and valuable messages.
The participating children build the ability to recognize and manage emotions through the world of music and establish positive relationships to deal with complex situations through music.
Through getting to know the musician and his works through active listening, research, and discussion in the group, the child strengthens the sense of partnership with his group and expands the perception of emotions.
This is in addition to the elation, inspiration, and expansion of imagination that cause empowerment and interpersonal development. Some of the shows are part of the Ministry of Education’s cultural initiative.
The activity is directed by David Gru, a performer, composer, and former musician in the New Israeli Opera Orchestra.
David and his wife Dana wanted to share the Galilean magic with everyone, and thus “Philharmonic In The Countryside” was born — a combination of inviting home hospitality, chamber music, good wine, and a spectacular Galilean view.
