You are invited to stop the routine for a moment, roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of creation with one of the most prominent ceramic sculptures in the world ― Varda Yatom, who lives and creates in Kibbutz Sasa.
Next to an ancient building, between a green sculpture garden and the shade of an old fig tree, Varda invites you to an experiential art workshop ― for couples, groups of friends, or families.
During the workshop, which will last between one to three hours, you will work with natural materials and create a personal or group work under her guidance: a joint sculpture, a tray, or even an artistic piece of furniture.
After the workshop, your work will be sent to the fire (with an additional fee) and will be waiting for you to pick up from the studio by prior arrangement.
If there is time left at the end of the activity, you can also visit Varda’s gallery and be impressed by her award-winning works ― and maybe enjoy some Buza Ice Cream at the entrance to the kibbutz.
