The Rima House is a cultural, touristic, and art gallery center. The house is a journey through time to discover the culture and tradition of the Christian Galilee and the countryside in the Land of Israel.
It is a place of fulfillment and empowerment guided by Rima Khoury who hosts groups from Israel and abroad.
We will begin the meeting with a welcome with tea, coffee, soft drinks, and traditional unique cookies. We will continue with a conversation with Rima Khoury about the story of Beit Rima, the home of Rima’s grandfather who was the village mukhtar and who converted the house into the Rima House, a place of female empowerment in which Rima’s dream came true. We will hear about the story of Rima’s unique path, her contribution to the community, and the change she leads through workshops and meetings.

Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
