We will start the trip with a wet and refreshing route at Nahal Tzalmon. The stream has two entrances and you can enter from either of them. It is not a circular route, so you will have to return to the car. Double the fun!

In the Tzalmon Stream, which flows in the northern part of the Lower Galilee, there is a light and easy nature trail, near or in water and without too much effort. The route is not circular, but walking there and back is relatively short (3 km) and can be done in an hour or half a day. A pleasant and easy route between flour mills and plenty of magical points.
Where is it? Highway 804, between Ras al-Ein and Sallama
The Route: about one kilometer of a charming flowing stream with several beautiful and shady pools (not deep), ancient flour mills, fruit orchards and avenues of poplars and willows.
Very easy, suitable for the whole family.
After we dipped into the stream water and enjoyed the walk in the shady and cool area, we drive 5 minutes to Kibbutz Lotem. There you can choose whether to start with a visit to the Lotem Winery, which is an organic winery, or to the Flora Flourishing Cheeses Dairy. Both are located opposite each other. By the way, in the complex you can also find a small shop selling handmade chocolates. Highly recommended.

The Lotem – Organic Winery is a winery that combines human and earth qualities. The winery is located at a beautiful vantage point in Kibbutz Lotem, above the Sakhnin Valley, overlooking the Sea of Galilee and the entire Lower Galilee. Winemakers Jonathan Koren and Yaniv Kimchi each year produce a fair amount of fine wine bottles. You can visit the place and enjoy good wine, amazing views and a special atmosphere.
An artisanal dairy located in the village of Lotem in the Galilee, specializing in the production of cheeses from sheep and goat milk, and hosting guests with a contemporary gastronomic perspective.
Adjacent to the dairy’s production space, beyond a glass display case that separates the two spaces, there is a pleasant hospitality space with a balcony overlooking the view, where you can enjoy a fine menu of local cheeses.
