The Peki’in Hive was founded by Gamal Hir in 1977 in the village of Peki’in. The Hive offers relaxed entertainment and heartfelt hospitality in a beautiful area that includes a Bedouin tent overlooking spectacular views, a wide range of activities and so much more.
The site was officially opened to visitors at a festive ceremony after a period of about 10 years of development and construction work.The purpose of the site is to combine rural hospitality with a variety of fun activities and the educational aspect of the site – travelers can learn about the honey production process, sun clocks and also learn about the history of the Peki’in village as well as the history of the Druze community.
The site has 3 workshops for children, a living area and a petting zoo, a children’s play area, a family picnic area, 3 huge tents with big seating areas. There is a Druze restaurant for pre-reserved groups. The site is suitable for special occasions and is open in winter – there is a sealed tent, heated by an oven.
