Aya Natural was founded in 2004 by Jamal Hamoud, who owns and is a native of the Druze village of Beit Jann, which is located in the heart of Mount Meron Nature Reserve. Aya Natural is a kind of bridge connecting the past and the future, between tradition and scientific knowledge that blend together. The factory is a “home of natural cosmetics” and is a unique meeting between the two peripheries “Negev” and “Galilee” in that the base is Galilee Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produced in the northern mountains of Israel, and combined with quality jojoba oil from the Negev.
At the top of Mount Ari, near Beit Jan, is an observation point overlooking Haifa to the Sea of Galilee. The height of the mountain is 930 m above sea level. The observation leads to a paved road suitable for all vehicles. Amazing view, sea water, where you can see all the lower Galilee, the southern Golan Heights and more.
Separate waterfalls are located in the Upper Tzalmon River, at the foot of Mount Meron. They flow for only a short period in winter and spring, but when they flow – visiting them is one of the most spectacular experiences for travelers in the Galilee, but even without water, the place offers a special atmosphere. The length of the track is about 1 km and about an hour.
The Lotem – Organic Winery is a winery that combines human and earth qualities. The winery is located at a beautiful vantage point in Kibbutz Lotem, above the Sakhnin Valley, overlooking the Sea of Galilee and the entire Lower Galilee. Winemakers Jonathan Koren and Yaniv Kimchi each year produce a fair amount of fine wine bottles. You can visit the place and enjoy good wine, amazing views and a special atmosphere.
