Rosh HaNikra is one of the most beautiful and unique sites in the area. The site is reached by cable car (the shortest in the world!) and there a unique natural phenomenon is revealed. Over thousands of years, the sea has eroded the rock of the Sulam Tzur, which meets the sea at this exact point – this is how the crevices were created, the beauty of which must be seen to understand their power. The site also contains the railway tracks and tunnel of the British railway that operated between 1943-1948, which were bombed on the Night of the Bridges by the Carmeli Brigade.
