Horvat Kev & Rabin Park

How to get there? Horvat Kev is located in the middle of the Rabin neighborhood in Karmiel in Rabin Park. Travel on Highway 85 from Akko towards Kiryat Shmona and turn right at the western entrance to Karmiel onto Highway 784. After a kilometer, turn right towards Karmiel and on the Mota Gur Bridge, turn left towards the city center onto Nase’ei Yisrael Street. After about 100 meters after the first roundabout, turn right into the parking lot, from where you walk about 50 meters inside Rabin Park.

Horvat Kev is a site from the Byzantine period (1500 years ago). You can see a church with an original mosaic and a wine press. The entire complex is a monastery. It is worth combining the visit with a walk in Rabin Park, which offers playgrounds, a cart track and many benches where you can have picnics.
