Agents – Female Entrepreneurship in Old Akko

1 pm – 13:45 pm/1:45 pm – 2:30 pm (2 rounds – divided into two groups):

Group 1

The first group will begin in the JNF-USA Information Center for Akko and the Western Galilee for a meeting with 2 female creative entrepreneurs, who are members of Western Galilee Now, to hear their story and taste the fruit of their creation:

Dr. Shlomit Zamir, a materials engineer who worked for many years as an engineer, fell ill one day and decided to leave everything behind to fulfill her dream and pursue another material – chocolate! The chocolatier who owns the Odette Chocolate Boutique will tell her exciting story accompanied by a delicious chocolate tasting.

Tina Khativ, owner of the famous Malabi House in Old Akko, will tell her empowering story and how she took three unique recipes, combined the best parts of each,  and created her own winning recipe. A single-parent native Akko woman who decided to turn the family warehouse into a delicious little shop. Will be accompanied by a tasting and a heartfelt ceremony.

Group 2

The second group will go on a tour of ancient Akko under the guidance of Tour Guide Karmit Arbel who will show them Akko from a different point of view.
