There is nothing that compares to this sweet and golden liquid, and the mysterious world of the bees that tirelessly toil to produce it with love and perseverance, as well as their importance in nature. You are invited to meet and hear the fascinating story of three beekeepers who live and produce in the Galilee and know each bee by its first name! The sessions include a visit to the hives or under the flowering trees, getting to know each other, and even experiencing the honey-making process firsthand.

The Ofir Farm in Alon HaGalil includes a vineyard and winery that wine lovers know by its former name ‘Yiftah’el Winery’ and a beehive, which honey lovers know by its previous name ‘Ofir Beehive’. The farm was established by Hadas and Zvika Ofir in Alon HaGalil, which was then an agricultural settlement at the beginning of its path. Zvika, grew up on the craft of raising bees, which he learned from his beekeeping father, Yishai. He received the first hundred swarms from him as a gift and today it consists of over 800 hives.
The honey extracted from the bees is pure, natural and healthy, and is classified according to the types of flowers: carob, jujube, clover, citrus, and avocado, and according to different wildflower areas. The second generation, the four children of Hadas and Zvika, continue the business, and as you can see in the picture – the third generation …
This year, too, you are invited to the honey festival that will take place at the Ofir Farm on September 4th. An opportunity to get up close and personal with the wonderful world of bees, to experience and also to taste this sweet treat.

Tzuf was established in 2013 as an organic apiary by beekeeper Tuvia (Dickman) Orr and partners. Since then, Tzuf has been considered a leader and sets quality and uncompromising standards in the Israeli honey market. The company’s vision is to distribute and make accessible organic honey and quality honey in Israel and to increase its share of Israeli honey consumption significantly.
