Looking for a unique experience for the whole family? We are happy to present you two recommended places for authentic, rich, and luxurious Bedouin hospitality in the Western Galilee.
The Galilean Madafa ― Traditional Bedouin Hospitality in the Village of Kaabiyah
Madafa is a traditional Bedouin guesthouse, a visitor center specializing in Bedouin history and culture. Here you can experience the traditional coffee-making ceremony, enjoy the flavors of the local cuisine, and get to know Bedouin customs and culture up close and personal.
You can also book various workshops such as straw weaving, foraging tours, cooking, and more.
Al E’in Tent ― Bedouin Colors, Stories & Flavors in Kamanneh
Al E’in Tent is a beautiful, air-conditioned accommodation complex that provides a Bedouin hospitality experience full of color, flavors, and stories. The encampment is located on the outskirts of the Bedouin village of Kamanneh, high up on Mount Kammon in the Misgav Regional Council, and is planted in a green Galilee area with a view overlooking the entire Western Galilee.
The visit is intended for groups and private audiences and offers a Galilean Bedouin experience that includes a meeting, traditional coffee and refreshment ceremony, a kosher Bedouin meal, as well as stories about the Bedouin heritage and the shared life of the Bedouin and Jewish communities on Mount Kammon.
The venue can be booked for private events, for an overnight stay in a Bedouin tent, and by prior arrangement ― a Bedouin meal or a tour of the area.
