Art on the Edge is a tour of one mountain, in two communities with countless talents. A great opportunity to peek into the creative spaces of local artists.
Paula Rykin, artist and owner of the Tin-Time Studio in Gilon invites you to a fascinating tour that will take you through the workshops of talented artists who chose to live and create on the edges rather than in the center of the country.
We will meet at Paula’s studio, enjoy a cup of coffee and light refreshments, and hear from Paula about the two thriving communities that ascended the mountain about 40 years ago, and hear about recycled and sustainable creations that are the cornerstones of the Tin-Time Studio.
After that, we will continue and meet Anat Cohen and take a tour of the magnificent mosaic walls she created in her yard. We will go with Anat to the studio for a demonstration of glass work and be impressed by the variety of art fields that Anat deals with.
From Anat’s studio we will continue to the magical kingdom of Naama Manor who lovingly and by hand creates beautiful greeting cards, elaborate albums, and decorative items purely from paper and using various decoration techniques.
We will end the tour at Igal Rozenblatt who creates sculptures and lighting fixtures full of imagination and humor. You will be surprised to see what raw materials Igal uses to create and hear his story.
Join a magical morning on Mount Gillon and you will be surprised to discover how much there is to see and do here. A day of meetings, enjoyment, and inspiration that will be a great start to your weekend.
See you soon!
