Pelech Winery invites you to a foraging tour, a cooking workshop, and a fine boutique wine in a wintery atmosphere against a panoramic view that is not found anywhere else.
Pelech Winery, whose vision for its establishment was a connection between man and the land, invites you to an experiential event with foraging and “Man of the Forest” Shahaf Fatishi. Shahaf, a “forest gardener” by training and a man of nature, will take us, after a background explanation, on a foraging tour in nature that surrounds the winery. During the tour, we will learn about various edible plants that can be gathered in Israeli nature in general and the Galilee in particular.
After the foraging tour, we will return to the visitors’ center for a cooking workshop where we will learn to cook foraging recipes combined with the winery’s excellent wines.
At the end of the workshop, we will receive the fruits of our labor.
When? Saturday, February 21, 11 am – 1:30 pm
Where? Pelech Winery, Kibbutz Pelech
Price: 120 NIS per person, 80 NIS per child (siblings will be given a discount). Throughout the workshop, you can purchase products from the visitor center and enrich the experience.
Phone: 072-3971207
Notes: The workshop will take place in any weather, it is recommended to come in warm clothing.
Pelech Winery is owned by Kibbutz Pelech, a young and diverse kibbutz whose members work together and separately while promoting shared values for a better society. Itay Bay, the winery’s winemaker, brought with him professional knowledge from France and the experience of the Galilee wineries, and together they created a home for Mediterranean wines, with natural fermentation — an approach of “less intervention, more truth”.
