In preparation for the rainy season and hot drinks, we invite you to a fun workshop on creating a pair of clay mugs, decorated with various and strange elements that we will prepare using molds or by hand.
We will gather at Studio Lil in the heart of Kibbutz Ga’aton, among shelves full of ceramic works that are a meeting between material and spirit, and we will dive into a few hours of joint creation led by artist Liat Gilad. Each participant will prepare two handmade decorated mugs (not on the potter’s wheel).
At the end of the workshop, we will leave the mugs to dry and fire in a ceramic oven at a temperature of 1200 degrees. After firing, you can drink your favorite drink from the cups you made and be proud of your handiwork.
Anyone can! No previous experience with clay is required. The workshop is suitable for ages 12 and up.
When? Friday, December 12, 10 am – 1 pm
Where? Studio Lil, Kibbutz Ga’aton
Price: 280 NIS per person
Phone: 072-3941150
Notes: Collection of works after the workshop will be done in person from the studio or with an additional payment for shipping anywhere in Israel, an additional 50 NIS
