Koby Sibony, curator of the exhibition “Between Here and Now” at the Gallery at Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta’ot, invites you to visit the exhibition in the presence of artist Amir Tomashov.
The exhibition “Between Here and Now” brings together works of art created by artist Amir Tomashov over the years. The exhibition includes works of art in various mediums ― sculpture, painting, drawing, use of Ready-Made, and more.
Tomashov, a Technion graduate architect, lecturer at the academy, deals mainly with artistic creation, and in his work addresses the issue of the city and urbanism as a living and breathing entity, developing, changing and even dying, just like a living creature.
At the opening ceremony, the artist Amir Tomashov will be awarded the Oscar Handler Award for 2025. The award is given annually to an artist whose artistic path and works bear a personal imprint and are characterized by the quality of their execution.
During the event, Amir will be present in the gallery, answer questions, talk about the work, and the exhibition.
