You are invited to “The Secret of the Kibbutz Miracle” in the heart of the pastoral Kibbutz Kfar Masaryk. Inside original kibbutz buildings that have undergone a beautiful preservation process, you will experience the kibbutz spirit of yesteryear with a variety of experiential activities for the whole family on the occasion of the holiday of Sukkot:
- Enjoy a family craft workshop in the shared kibbutz sukkah, in the first courtyard, to make sukkah decorations from natural and recycled materials.
- “Painted Iron” exhibition ― a beautiful and inspiring exhibition by two local artists at the Monio Gallery. The exhibition presents a one-time encounter between hard and heavy materials and an imaginary, colorful and lively world. Familiar Disney characters, drawn in a unique and expressive style, are given a new and different character here – alongside colorful and dynamic sculptures that combine iron and other materials. The cold industrial material is given new life, moving between sculpture and painting, and telling a story of rebirth.
- A tour of the historic (and incredibly photogenic) 1940s shoemaker’s shop, filled with the sweet scent of kibbutz girls in red shoes and biblical sandals, and a display of porcelain from Naaman Porcelain, the legendary factory of Kibbutz Kfar Masaryk.
- Cafe Thomas – The luxurious coffee cart offered a rich autumn menu and fine coffee on the grass between the hut and the water tower.
A morning of flavors, colors, nostalgia, and art.
