Galiloka specializes in boutique food tours in the Galilee and Carmel, combining visits to secret and surprising places, some of which you won’t find in any guidebook. Through an authentic culinary experience, we will reveal to you the stories of the locals, the traditional cuisines and the special flavors that characterize the region.

During the journey, we will discover the true side of the Galilee, from secret culinary gems to family kitchens that serve tradition on a plate.
Tour Itinerary:
Stop 1: We will start the day in a European gem located in the heart of the Galilee. A visit to an amazing patisserie where we will taste perfectly designed sandwiches and pastries. We will hear the story of the pastry chef who won the hearts of the locals thanks to his hard work, precision, creativity, and unforgettable taste.
Stop 2: We will continue to the Taboon Bakery, a well-kept secret of locals where a grandmother and daughter work together and prepare authentic breakfast pastries that are baked on site in a wooden taboon with great love
Stop 3: An intimate visit to the home of a local family where we will get to know the tradition that has developed in the modern era.
Stop 4: We will continue to a small and magical kingdom of local aromas, a place that tells the Galilean tradition through unique spice blends, coffee ground on site, and more.
Stop 5: A rich lunch. Mother and daughter chefs will lead us on a journey of flavors passed down from generation to generation, we will experience authentic home hospitality like in the past with an abundance of local and traditional dishes.

Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
