We will meet people who do what they know best with love, get to know the stories behind the flavors and get an authentic glimpse into private worlds, full of identity, precision and attention.
Tour Itinerary:
Stop 1: We will begin the tour at a European pearl in the heart of the Galilee. Perfectly designed pastries, quality coffee and a story about a local confectioner who won the hearts of the locals with precision, creativity and unforgettable taste.
Stop 2: We will visit a traditional Taboon bakery run only by women and will receive warm and fragrant tastings of authentic morning bread baked on site with great love.
Stop 3: We will arrive at the home of a local family who surprisingly prepares one of the best shawarmas in the country, but only one day a week and for only a few hours. A rare and especially delicious experience.
Stop 4: A visit to spectacular exotic gardens, some of the most photogenic in the country.
Stop 5: We will continue to an intriguing and beloved stop, an intimate visit to a local Druze chef. A young woman who cooks exactly as she was taught by generations before her. We will taste dishes rich in flavor, each of which was made with care and attention. An underground experience just like we like.
Stop 6: We will visit a colorful kingdom of unique smells, aromas and flavors.
Galiloka specializes in boutique food tours in the Galilee and Carmel, combining visits to secret and surprising places, some of which you won’t find in any guidebook. Through an authentic culinary experience, we will reveal to you the stories of the locals, the traditional cuisines and the special flavors that characterize the region.

Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
