You are all invited to the magical studio of artist Liat Gilad, for an hour-long meeting that is all about color, material, inspiration, and creation. Hear the full story about the sources of her creativity and inspiration, the path she has taken, and the works in the studio. The visit is suitable for a minimum of 2 people, for a nominal fee and by prior arrangement with the artist.
Liat Gilad creates out of passion, love, and need. A graduate with a master’s degree in advanced crafts from the University of Brighton in England, she has participated in exhibitions across the country and her works have found a home in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, and around the world. Liat is a silver and goldsmith, paints, photographs, weaves, sculpts in clay and earth, writes and dreams of becoming a musician.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
