Laga’at Basade is a unique platform that markets fresh Galilean produce of fruits and vegetables and unique products straight from the field, greenhouse or orchard ― to your home. The produce comes directly from farmers throughout the Galilee without additional intermediary gaps.
You are invited to an experiential tour of the Laga’at Basade agricultural farm, which includes a hydroponic greenhouse and an organic field with a wide variety of crops.
At the entrance to the farm, you will enjoy a welcome that includes herbal tea directly from the field and seasonal fruits. We will gather in the grapevine pavilion facing the Galilean landscape overlooking Mount Hermon, the Peki’in Valley, and the Galilee Mountains. While we enjoy a wonderful mountain breeze, we will hear the personal story of Dor, a native of Ra’anana, a tour guide by profession, who, following the pandemic, decided to return to his original love ― agriculture.
Dor will explain the different types of crops on the farm, the growing methods, and the development of the Laga’at Basade platform that allows ordering fresh Galilean produce directly from the field and from Galilean farmers. From there, we will continue with a tour that includes self-picking and tasting of seasonal crops.
The tour is tailored to groups. Minimum 20 participants.
You can add to your visit the preparation of pita bread on site using spices grown on the farm.
The free time forced on him during the Covid-19 pandemic was channeled by Pintel for the establishment and operation of a hydroponic greenhouse, where he grows, harvests, and packs the produce himself. From there the business grew naturally!
