For many years the tour guide Karmit Arbel incorporated theatrical characters in her tours as a means of conveying stories of the past with humor and interest.
Recently, Karmit began traveling around the country with “Once Again You & Your Grandmother’s Stories …” — a humorous one-woman show in which Galilean stories, knowledge about foraging plants, and cultural traditions are interwoven.
Through the show, Karmit brings the Galilee, its people, and its special stories to women’s gatherings in living rooms, theater halls, cafes, galleries, and social events.
You are invited to include in your next event a humorous, fascinating show, full of stories and knowledge transmitted through three Galilean grandmothers that Karmit plays in a solo show.
Price will be determined according to location and group size.
Karmit Arbel Rumbak is a tour guide, also active on the subject of sustainability. In her tours, she connects people and has a true gift in making you laugh and giving theatrical tours for the whole family.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
