Safta (Grandma) Maha, from the beautiful Druze village of Hurfeish, is known for her amazing cooking skills. Several years ago she decided to combine her two loves — cooking and hospitality, and since then Maha and her husband Amir have been hosting many groups from Israel and the world in their home located at the edge of the village. On good days, the guests are treated to a meal fit for a king on a balcony in front of a breathtaking panoramic view of the Galilee, and get a taste of her unbelievable life story. Following the war, Safta Maha brings the flavors and stories to you.
