In the workshop, you will paint a ceramic plate with a pre-prepared pattern, using unique and durable paints.
Artist Ariel Aravot will guide you step by step, explain the ceramic processes, and provide tips for personal and original creation.
What awaits you?
At the end: the plates will be coated with a transparent glaze and fired in a ceramic oven at a temperature of 1200 degrees for a shiny and durable appearance.
The finished plate can be collected by prior arrangement or received by delivery for an additional fee.

Ariel Aravot, an international glass and ceramic artist and graduate of Bezalel and Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), opened his studio out of a love for creation and connecting people through art. He believes that everyone can discover the artist within and accompanies participants with a patient and inviting approach.
Glass artist and graduate of MA from RISD and BA from Bezalel. Participated in many exhibitions in Israel and abroad. His work is based on collaborations, traditional techniques, and innovation arising from dialogue with local cultures and traditions.
Western Galilee Now is a registered non-profit grassroots organization (NGO) promoting awareness and appreciation for the region’s boutique wines, beers, food and produce, along with its cultural diversity, its historic traditions and the area’s scenic routes nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea acting as a Chamber of Commerce to boutique tourism operators in the region.
We expose the visitors to the unique heritage and hospitality through workshops, culinary events, art, music, guides tours, festivals and also through our Tourist Information Center in Akko, owned by JNF USA which we were chosen to operate since Jan. 2016.
Our vision is to develop local and foreign tourism based on close cooperation between all the interested parties in the region.
